You will have the morning free to explore the city or take one of the shore excursions offered by our ship. As an extra special treat, Peoples Bank has included an excursion to the Liarsville Gold Rush Camp and Salmon Bake, which is located at the foot of the White Pass Trail and is nestled beside a waterfall! Our stop in Juneau will offer several choices for you to make. You may opt to see Mendenhall Glacier by helicopter, the tramcar trip to see Mount Roberts, Shaa Hit (and be introduced to Tlingit culture), or the historic tour of Juneau. We will dock at Ketchikan, often referred to as the “First City,” as it is often the first stop for many visitors to Alaska. The almost 200 inches of annual rainfall make this area incredibly lush and green. We will also sail into Victoria, British Columbia. You can choose to visit the historic and scenic sights, which include the waterfront, Beacon Hill Park, the Empress Hotel, the legislative buildings, Chinatown, and Antique Row, or you can visit the 50-acre Butchart Gardens, or head up to Mount Tolmie for the best views in Victoria.
